This is a 2-day class
Please note that class one will be embroidery, and class two is sewing.
In this class we will make this gorgeous Mandala design applique pillow, with your choice of fabrics. This pillow comes together beautifully, and you will love to display this in your home when finished.

Supply List:
- Fabric and batting
- Fabric sizes vary depending on the size of the pillow you choose to make. When you download the design there is a PDF file with it. On page 2 of the PDF file, you will find the fabric requirements. The directions call for seven fabrics, but that is up to you. It’s your pillow, and if you would like to repeat the same fabric in more than one part of the design, that is fine. However, you will not need more than seven for the front design.
- Batting as listed on page 2 of the PDF, depending on the size pillow you will be making.
- Water soluble stabilizer (WSS) cut the same size as your batting pieces.
- Notions & Tools
- Embroidery machine (for first class) in good working order, and manual. For class two we will be sewing.
- Hoops for your machine
- Matching thread for each fabric, and fully wound bobbins
- Scissors, both regular and applique scissors (curved as well as duckbill are suggested)
- Pins
- Seam ripper
- Basting spray is optional.
- Lint roller
- Pillow form based on the size pillow you would like to make.
Before class, please cut all fabrics as listed on page two of the PDF instructions. PAY ATTENTION TO THE SIZE PILLOW YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE AND CUT FABRICS ACCORDINGLY. DO NOT cut the fabric for the back of your pillow, but make sure you have enough to do so. We will discuss that in class. In the first class (June 12 OR August 1) we will complete one block. We will also discuss the cutting of the pillow backing fabric. It will be your responsibility to complete the other three blocks before the second class (June 19th).

Class Cancellation Policy
To reserve a seat, all Pocono Sew & Vac classes must be paid in full upon registration. In the event that a student needs to cancel their reservation for a class, they should notify PS&V at least 7 days in advance (by phone) to be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before class will not be issued a refund.
If a class does not have the minimum number of participants 7 days prior to class day, the teacher will cancel class. The customer will be fully refunded within 7 to 10 business days. Any questions call PS&V at 800-442-8227.
Some classes require homework to be done before class, such as cutting/prepping fabrics. If homework is required, it will be posted in the class description. Please read the class description thoroughly before signing up before a class. If homework is not done by the start of class, you will not be able to attend, and a refund will not be issued.
