Tuesday, November 7th 2017
Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Cost: $45.00
Instructor: Jeannie Campbell
Advanced Beginner Class

Do you love all your gorgeous decorative stitches on your machine but never use them? Are you really not even sure HOW to use them? Well, Jeannie has developed several classes for just that question. The first class will be making a Crazy Quilt Heart using the Stitch & Flip Method and then instead of hand embroidering along the seams, they will be created using your deco stitches.

The class will include:

  • Foundation Stitch & Flip
  • Creating a great Satin Stich
  • Dealing with tension
  • Adjustment of Deco Stitches
  • Combining Stitches

This is not a “learn to Use My Sewing Machine Class.” You need to know the basics of sewing of a sewing machine and in particular, YOUR machine. You also need to know how to thread your machine, fill a bobbin, and WHERE the tension adjustment is on YOUR machine when you enter the class. If all else fails, try the last resort….look in your owner’s manual!

If you plan to bring your smaller machine rather than your big heavy machine, consider the stitches available to you on the small machine. You will probably be limited. It is up to you whether to lug the “Monster” to class!
